February 21st, 2009 will be our eleventh annual gala. Growing from a humble 40 guests our first year to well over 200 in some years! Our Krewe regularly fills two double decker buses, two bars, one hotel, and a large order for a good time!

A fun filled trip to Bourbon Street for Mardi Gras in 1998 provided the inspiration for our little gala. Deciding that the Mardi Gras concept was too much fun to leave in New Orleans, we started planning a high energy, no driving event that we could share with our friends.

Our first year, a small group of single friends tossed aside the Valentines Day holiday and agreed to join us for an evening of debachery and dancing. Since then we have added more friends (and made new ones), making the evening one of our annual highlights.

Keeping with our tradition, the Mardi Gras is a non-profit affair, with all the proceeds going to the party itself. We sometimes allow select companies to provide party favors for additional costs, but none of the proceeds from these items goes to the Krewe.
